The Arches of Château Diter
Launch of La Trace · September 29, 2026 · Grasse.
On September 29th, beneath the arches of Château Diter, NUIT VAGABONDE brought together those close to the brand to celebrate La Trace—the final chapter of Nocturne Memory, It was a suspended moment in time, where fragrance, light, and faces all merged into a single, unified scene. Every glance, every gesture, and every fleeting instant became a fragment of memory.
More than just a launch, the house sought to offer an experience that reflects its own unique world: a night conceived like a film, complete with its own setting, lighting, and cast of characters. A few words, a table, some candles and the space to simply let yourself be carried away.

La Trace tells the story of what remains when the night fades away: the sensation that lingers on the skin, the moments that endure, the memories that refuse to vanish. That evening, it was worn for the very first time.
With it, the Nocturne Memory trilogy which began with Cuir de Peau and continued with Peau de Cuir comes to a close. Three fragrances, three acts, one single story: that of an encounter, an intimacy, and finally a dream of which only a lingering trail remains.

Château Diter, Grasse
To unveil La Trace, NUIT VAGABONDE sought a setting that mirrored the aesthetic of its films: stone, shadow, and light that falls just right. They discovered it in the hills above the perfume capital. Beneath a vaulted gallery, a long table had been laid, illuminated solely by the flicker of candlelight. It was an open-air film set, where every guest eunbeknownst to them became a character in the scene.

Two signatures
Behind every fragrance in the Nocturne Memory collection lies a dialogue, a conversation that Zack Benhadj, founder of NUIT VAGABONDE, has maintained with Franck Bouis since day one. Together, they composed the collection’s three scents: weighing raw materials, seeking out the perfect accords, and refining each formula until it found its own voice. They were driven by a single, shared obsession: that the fragrance should express the vision held by the film. On September 29th, beneath the arches of Château Diter, they unveiled *La Trace*—the final chapter of this story, crafted by four hands. For one evening, what had first taken shape in the laboratory came to life upon the skin of others.
Zack Benhadj, a self-taught and independent creator
He was born in Lille, between the cool light of the North and the warmth of his Moroccan roots. More than seven years ago, he left Lille for Nice. A change of direction, more than a simple move. Facing the Mediterranean, a different light and a different rhythm took hold, like a new plan, a new setting.

Born in the South of France, NUIT VAGABONDE Parfums is a haute parfumerie house conceived as an intimate cinema where each fragrance is composed like a film, in a chiaroscuro aesthetic. Between heritage and horizon, memory and desire, the house creates scents that tell stories and awaken the imagination.

At dawn, as the world awakens and the night fades away, La Trace lingers like a whisper upon the skin a fragrance that holds the memory of embraces, fleeting touches, and passions left suspended. For those souls who carry within them the recollection of melancholy, this scent becomes an invisible, dark, and indelible echo - a timeless trace of desire and love long past.
